In 2003, I saw between 50 and 70 movies; in 2004, I saw 66; in 2005, 50; and last year, I only saw 39 (bump that up to 40 once I see Inland Empire this week). Am I getting older, spreading my attentions more thinly, or just less overwhelmed by the cinema? I'm not really sure. Whatever the case may be, I'm watching less and less stuff as the years go by.
